Description: This is fully assembled model of the war time version US Coast Guard 82. The model is 100% hand built from scratch using “plank on frame” construction method. We have spent months to study plan and pictures to make the first prototype. The first production was supervised by an actual US Coast Guard veteran. The model contains magnificent details which include the Boston Whaler, 81mm mortar with platform, machine guns on tripod, boat davit, suction hose, drums, fire hose, windshield wipers, engine hatches and many more... The model rests on a solid wood base with metal nameplate.
